I don't like writing or lecturing about HOW I do things. Not out of vanity or professional secrecy but out of a genuine concern for the the effects it might have on a young artist struggling to define themselves. I fear that when I tell HOW I do something, the temptation is for others to imitate it. I think it's more valuable to share WHY I do something.
I spent my early career imitating Sound Designers I admired. I read about and copied their techniques with some success. What I discovered was that I squandered that time by not exploring my own voice. That's important. Each time you mimic someone else' techniques, it comes at the expense of finding an original one of your own. One that might define you or your career.
I prefer to speak about WHY I do things. It gives those interested in learning the tools to solve a variety of challenges, rather than the narrow lesson learned from HOW I made/designed/edited a specific sound or scene.
